Has anyone actually seen anyone in anything like this during regular daily interactions?

It's not cheap either. The website lists prices from 1,500 to 7,000 dm. What's that in euro these days?

What's the point of wearing this?

Shock for shock's sake. No thanks, I'm not interested

If you really wanted to make a statement, forget the clothes that make you look naked and actually walk around naked. That would be a bold statement and it wouldn't cost you a buttload of money either.

I've seen a bunch of outfits being worn in Japan. Most of those just look like underwear, etc. I think it's pretty funny!

Simply asinine. It's amusing to see the ass crack from the skirt and shirt separate making the owner look like the moron that she most likely is, assuming some fool actually purchased one of these pathetic designs.

I totally agree! Why can't people stick to those basics, and not create "naked" clothing...messed up man.
I cannot see how or why someone would want to spend money on that kinda stuff.

I read that these are (or were) all the rage in Japan. I don't get it; the clothes are ugly and unflattering, and expensive to boot. I thought that one of the purposes of clothing was to cover up nakedness???

I don't think it's so bad. I have absolutely no clue as to why everyone seems so put off by this. If it is legit, I would look forward to seeing someone wear them.

How bad does someone's body have to be, before this could be considered an improvement?
*looks down*
On the other hand....

I wonder though...if someone were to actually wear one of these fashion mis-statements in public....could they then be arrested for public indecency? I mean they are, after all, fully clothed.
I think that I prefer the obverse to this coin. Naked bodies with clothing air brushed on.

Like I said, I read it somewhere, in a magazine or newspaper I believe. It included pictures, mostly of skirts that look like you are wearing underwear. And no, it wasn't Enquirer or Star that I read it in.

Kind of funny, you want something to sell in America, say it's big in Japan, you want it to sell in Japan, say it's big in America. Nice little gimic they got worked out. I mean, who is going to fly over seas just to find out for themselves?

I've actually seen something like this is public...but it was the ushers for a Cirque de Soleil show in Vega. The dirty one...shit, I can't remember the name...But the women had asses on their skirts and the guys just had mesh shirts you could see through.
That was a sweet ass show...Even though I had a guy sitting on the back of my seat staring at me for like five minutes before I realized it...
