people who don't pay attention to the directions they are given

drivers who insist on waiting until you are 100 feet away doing 70 mph before they pull out in front of you (one of these days me and my BRAT (Big Red Ass Truck) are gonna smoosh some crappy little economy car and I'm gonna get sued by the survivors or their families)

people who whine constantly, especially those in leadership positions

people in leadership positions who couldn't lead a lost hungry cub scout to a picnic bhasket much less lead soldiers

anyone that is unable to make a decision, right or wrong, decide and act

the list goes on and on, i guess i'm just generally dissatisfied with the human race

I worked tech support. The whole human race annoys me.

Most of all, two types.

1. People who are happy, nay, PROUD that they know nothing about computers they spent THOUSANDS of dollars on, and don't really care. They look at a computer like a monkey looks at a walnut.

2. People who don't like "this computer shit. It's so stupid and fucking useless. No one needs these damn things, and we were all better off before they came along" Thank you for belittleing the one joy I have in my life. I don't knock you nailing your sister, you bumpkin.

What pisses you off? Why?

I would really like to know what ticks people off. It's just an interesting questiong that i never really get answered.

What ticks me off is stupid people. They act like a complete jerk or arse or just complain retards.. i know i'm not explaing it too well, but just thinking about it ticks me off.

I hate the asians because most of them show the "conniving little whores" trait. By that, I mean where they'll deliberatly not tell you something that could help you out, because they want you to fail so that they will look good. Also, they keep information/ideas to themselves and try to be a team player. There's also the "azn pride" thing. I mean, what the heck, so it's cool to be asian now? you have to flash signs when you come across other asians? You're in freaking america. Yes, there are other races in this particulcar country, and yours isn't all that special. STFU. So you like being associated with countries that have child labor(phillipines, china), sweat shops(phillipines, china), and human right is basically nonexistant(china, phillipines)? Do you like that the fact that the rulers have been very lucrative and slippery and caused lots of hurt? (china, japan) Yes, other countries have had some backgrounds that suck. And they do have pride. Americans have american pride. But that's okay to some extent because they LIVE IN AMERICA.

There are also the "ricers". The people with the tweaked up honda civics with a massive spoiler and a muffler that creates more sound than it actually blocks. They generally talk about how "sweet" their ride is, and really like crappy movies such as the fast and furious/ too fast too furious (although the first one was a lot better than the second one, even thought that's not saying much). Why pay the extra money for all that stuff? why not buy a good all around car like the toyota camry. i've used that as a "rally" car before. Why? because i didn't want to use the van, and it was a good fun, to pass the time. I came really close to beating some bmws.

There is also the matter of hubris. This falls into the category of being arrogant, which i can loop back to the "AZN" pride. Pride is okay, but there's a threshold. Once it's reached, i get really pissy. I can't think of anything else at the moment, since i'm at work. But i'd like to hear your thoughts.

Hmmm, must be a great burden to hate a group of people that comprise about a third of the world's population. And to have to generate that amount of hate based upon your experiences with only a few. Chances are you will be dealing with them on a daily basis for the rest of your life. Hope you can come to some peaceful terms with your feelings.

I guess bigotry and racism pisses me off the most.

Generalization can get confused with blatant racism.

How about something most can agree with - stupid people suck. Doesn't matter about race, religion, etc.

Basically there are only two kinds of people - jerks and non-jerks. Representatives of both kinds from all races abound.

Dont get me wrong but you should go read the tfp charter a couple times. Racism and generalization are the tools of of the ignorant. Though you might know a couple asians that act the way you speak you are now using those pitiful examples to represent a beautiful race of people.

I have discovered a few things piss me off recently.

Computers that dont work piss me off.
People who steal my stuff piss me off, stop being a leech on society, you assholes.
People who tell me I have so much to offer, but dont even consider taking me up on it piss me off, you're just blowing air up my ass.
People who flake out on me piss me off, am I the only one who thinks that keeping promises (even those little ones that you say without thinking) is the most important thing you can do for someone?
People who dont get right to the point piss me off, I don't like to be buttered up.

I used to think it was a chore to get me pissed off, but recently that's changed a little.

people who steal piss me off. i had my car broken into a few months ago - had a lot of stuff stolen. sure i was pissed that a lot of expensive stereo equipment was stolen, but what really pissed me off was the fact that I really couldn't do shit about it. i wanted to lay my tire iron to that fucker's face, but i couldn't cuz i didn't know who it was.

ignorant people piss me off

oh and my friend's dog pisses me off

Most of the things that piss me off boil down to two things...respect and integrity--especially at work, and this has come up recently. Working in a place with strict codes of behavior, "policy" runs most of the things we are and are not allowed to do as waiters in my restaurant. There very clear rules concerning damn near every aspect of our restaurant, all the way down to having to wear a 100% cotton, pinpoint oxford, white button down dress shirt. Anything else will get you written up and sent home for being out of uniform. Now, in a place that lays such great emphasis on "policy" and "rules," if you don't have the integrity to enforce those rules equally and fairly, across the board, you have no business being in a management position. If you don't have the integrity to not lie to your employees concerning "policy," you don't belong in a management position. If you're going to tell someone that something is "policy" then three weeks later blatantly contradict yourself as to what the "policy" is--to that person's detriment both times--you have no business having a say in anything in this life as you don't have the intelligence and integrity to be in a position where you affect others' lives. People who feel they have to lie in order to cover up their inadequacies, their playing of 'favorites' and their lack of responsibility and basic respect are what piss me off. Someone that will tell me a bald-faced lie to get me to do something, then show that they're lying a short time later apparently doesn't respect me as a person or respect my intelligence, nor do they have the integrity to tell the truth in the first place. Yea, this turned into a rant, and I said alot of it to one of the managers at work, which is why I'm currently suspended and pending termination--because I have the integrity to stick by my word and not be lied to and misused in a theoretically "professional" environment. Yet this time, like every time, if I want to keep my job, I swallow my pride, claim that I'm the one who is wrong and hopefully finish out the last four weeks of my employment there.

I work in a center to assist bankers with home equity application status. They get sales credit for each application they do, so they become vultures.

Sometimes I tell them their customer's apps were declined, and they don't believe me. That makes me mad sure, but what REALLY gets to me is when I transfer them to the actual loan officer, they ask him/her the same question I just answered, and say "the guy on the helpline did not know what he was talking about." Then the LO tells them the same damn thing.

AAHHH!

Plus people who launch into boring stories that have no relevance to what we're talking about.

also, not the go against the TFP charter, but I want to add my support for the thread starter. The majority of bankers on the west coast are of oriental descent, and boy are they sneaky. They try to get me do sneak things through, convince me their customers are better than their credit says, and they're just bitchy.

But if you're halx, or an admin you didn't see that edit.

- People who ride on the effort of others, without contributing anything useful of their own, especially in groupwork
- People who spread false rumors in order to get the upper hand
- People who hide behind vague concepts like "religion" and "minority", in order to snipe at those who disagree with them
- People who choose an option which benefits themselves while hurting others, even though obvious compromises exist.
- People who do something offensive "just because they can"

I guess everything that pisses me off really can be crystallized into self-centeredness.

Anymore it seems like the world (and America in particular) is increasingly filled with a bunch of whiny, self-centered morons who feel entitled to behave how they want, say whatever they want, and do whatever they want with no fear of consequences. This translates to your road-ragers, your PC-police, fat people who want to sue McDonalds for "making" them fat, and so on.

These are the same ones who always seem to assert that it is their "right" to have a nice house and a fast car and a big-screen TV, and free health care, and someone else should make that all happen for them. You know the ones. The ones that never do anything for themselves and then cry "it's not fair" when those who do are rewarded for their efforts. They want everything given to them, but they want to give nothing.

I guess what pisses me off the most is that people just seem to have no regard for each other anymore. It's all about looking out for old #1, and anyone that gets in the way of "me getting what I want" is met with what basically amounts to the adult form of a temper tantrum.
