Hey guys... I want to put a picture of my 300ZX under my name like many of the other people do. How and where do I put it?

you need to earn it. after 250 posts you have the ability to set an avitar. we suggest you put some thought into what you post, lots of post-spammers are finding their post counts getting lower sooner. just a suggestion

btw, this thread has been moved to the newbies section.

250, eh. Quite a bit. Ah well. Yeah, it's sometimes tempting to post for the sake of posting. Not only because we want avatars and such, but because we're killing time and aren't sure what to constructively add to the discussion so we go into rambling almost incoherent sentences. At least I do.

Ninja, my general advice is to relax, read posts, post well thought out replies, and have fun. Don't even think about post count. After a while, you will be surprised at how fast your number grows.

Participation in society is the key to a healthy life - no posting is like sitting at your rear window watching the world go - it is not satisfying - just look at Tom Hanks in Castaway - he made friends with a volleyball!!!

If you dont post, you too may inadvertently befriend some sporting equipment!

go to the UserCP to change your profile, under user options and user profile. after crazy is...

anything. and you get there by going forward.

button. Click "Edit Options." Scroll down to "Change Avatar" and click. Then click browse and find the pic you want as your avatar. Restrictions are 100 x 100 pixels and no more than 10k.

Is there a way of knowing how many posts you have already made? I fear that working to sound intelligent sometimes has the opposite effect (I'm sure we all know that cultural anthropology student that is really irritating with their jargon) I'm working to revitalize my own personal curiosity so bear with me while I work to reintegrate myself with meaningful communication as being in the working world sometimes tends to dull ones imagination. To me it is sometimes a struggle to stay conscious in a world full of sleeping people.

All you have to do is click on the profile button in your post.
It will give you all the info you need.
