do you gals have any books to recommend regarding married life and different situations..like marring someone who already has a kid, or other scenarios..

anything dr. phil, he is to the point and easy to understand. he has one specific book about families, but i cant remember the title, but its easy to spot. good luck!

I would recommend The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, by John Gottman. It's a good general "manual" for making relationships last. I don't think it addresses particular scenarios, but it's applicable to all sorts of situations.
