really good work, you really capture the eyes, how long does it take you to do them? im a big fan of pencil and airbrush, and this combines aspects of both.

tell me something; how do you get your hand-drawn pencil work to look as if the entire thing was done in photoshop (IE the lines are all *perfectly* straight and curved) No smearing, no flaws. Does the fact that you're using cartridge paper have anything to do with it? (dont know what it is....)
Nice drawing man

I'd kinda like to have a more scratchy feel to my work. I've always drawn in pencil/gouache/watercolour, so i'm used to it. And I draw backwards (weird arm action so that my wrist is on top of the drawing). I don't like that my work looks airbrushed or Photoshoped, it's just a style that is natural. I work the pencil in small circular motions, so you can't see any lines. Like I say, an aquired style.

Cheers for the kind comments.

Absolutely amazing!

Hopefully after three more years of art school, my work will begin to look a little more like that!

3 more years of art school? *Shudder.

I was kinda hoping this was my style. My influences come from many sources. Be it crusty old artists or contemporary designers/illustrators working today.

Cheers once again.

Eh, 3 years of art school isn't so bad after 2 quarters of Honors English Literature, Medieval and Renaissance. Quite nice, actually.

Once again, bravo on some truly amazing artwork.

I am also intensely curious as to how long a drawing like this takes to do- start to finish??

You could seriously persue work as an illustrator. The money can be decent. I think your style would be appreciated by a variety of authors, for a variety of subjects.
