and i think it's fantastic.
basically, it is vast collection of photographs of words used as parts of the landscape--signage mostly---natural features. defining words by the tendency we seem to have to want to write on everything, the proper side of tagging which issues into the less-than-proper: people want to write on the world.

personally, i am inclined to get a camera just to start making images of words with the idea of submitting them to the dictionary.

if you already take photos of text grafted onto the world, words interesting because of the font, the medium, the placement, to which you can maybe add another level by composition within the frame of your image--post some here.

or use this as i will, as an excuse to start. post that too.
or just submit them to the visual dictionary and let us know where to go.

or just look at the dictionary for a while and marvel at this enormous, strange collective space...
