Fonts - Numbers

I needed a good font for my project but I couldn't find anything that fit so I made these.

I liked them so I thought I'd share what I've got done so far. I don't need the alphabet but I might make them anyways because it's pretty fun.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Hail Cybermike!

These samples are magnificent. I would desire this font upon its completion. I have often dreamed of making my own fonts but have never attempted it. I confess ignorance to the Kung Fu of font creation. Is there a process that I could benefit from knowing? I want to make an intestinal font.

I would enjoy knowing more about your font work.

Typography 2 final was to design an original font. Instructor kept mine as an example:

Giant: it's really not that hard, but, in this case, was time-consuming. Done in Illustrator, I used a basic bold font (arial bold, if I remember correctly), took outlines, made strokes of them, then manipulated the shapes. Finally, I created a pattern brush of denim, filled them in and added some 'wrinkle lines'. Now I just need 'Fontagrapher' to make the individual letters usable as a font!

is there anything else other than fontographer (that might be readily available) for anyone wanting to make fonts? i too have been DYING to make fonts for at least 6 years. it's a wonder i'm not dead yet.

i once made a font of logs. i'll have to see if i can track it down.

i've only made one font. i don't know if it's changed now, but the font can only be black and white with no gray...just giving you something to think about, you may have to halftone your font...if things have changed...please inform me

Cool fonts Ngdawg and doodlebird

The shadow is just a little touchup. Plain fonts are.. well plain I'll attach a shadowless pic.

GH, I used flash MX because its easier and faster to manipulate all the curves than it would be in photoshop, and because It's the program that I started with.

I started out with the rounded part on the three. It reminded me of shrek's ear and I could picture it as a cartoon horn going "ooga ooga!" but it didn't look childish which I liked...
