Illustrator and Photoshop stuff

Here a few things I've done in Illustrator and Photoshop. The "water" one is a self portrait. I would appreciate any feedback.

i like the tiger one. i'm kinda partial to flat colors though. the gradients in the others don't do it for me.

ok, i really like the tiger one. nice work.

For the self portrait I took a picture of myself, scanned it in and used it as a template to paint in the colors. The background is a combination of filters start with a grandient fill, then crystallize, then go into liquify to make some adjustments then use the ocean ripple filter. After I finsihed drawing the face I put a glass filter on it.

For the scale picture I started with a blank page and started playing with filters until I got what I wanted.

Thanks all for the positive feedback

The last one is quite nifty, a butt load of effects went into that one.

i think with some more time and detail put into the tiger, it could be a very good peice...i'm assuming you painted the face in the blue picture, i'm also assuming the original isn't very big, the rough look it has is ok...i dont' like the last peice at all...some things are just too photoshopped...

The last piece may not be good for a website or s sig or something BUT it could be used as a texture in a game...like in something alien...

Hmm, I guess it could make a really neat texture after a bit of tweaking... I'm gonna try it out, lol.
