Some of my art work
So, I never posted my own stuff here before, but I thought I'd give it a go. I'd love to know your opinion.
This isn't so recent but it's within what I'm currently working on. I am an artist but not yet successful (hopefully some day ) this is a detail of the same one: Another painting: this is a side view, so you can see that it has volume:

However much we give our thoughts the will To be our soul and gesture it abroad, Our hearts are incommunicable still. In what we show ourselves we are ignored. The abyss from soul to soul cannot be bridged By any skill of thought or trick of seeming. Unto our very selves we are abridged When we would utter to our thought our being. We are our dreams of ourselves, souls by gleams, And each to each other dreams of others' dreams. Fernando Pessoa, 1918 |

the word i'd use for them is Intense. it doesn't seem like the type of painting that you could just pass by. you can't help but have some sort of reaction to it. i can't get a full gauge of the size, but it seems large. is it? well documented. thanks for sharing.

I really like the second painting. Very organic shapes mixed with intense colours always seem to have an effect on me. (to be honest, it reminds me slightly of something very feminine. It's wonderful though!)
What does it say within the black? All I can make out is "glue" and "need" |

Interesting. I'm drawn by the juxtaposition of the contrasting colors. The eye is enticed by the symetry of the form in the middle, to escape the chaos of the verge. What idiom would you classify it?
