Cassette deck
 

Hey dudes.

Been at it again on Illustrator. This may or not be used on my band's website for an MP3 player. The play and pause buttons respond to mouse clicks and will moveup and down on the final version.

That is nicely done. I like the whole retro look and good choice of colors. It helps bring out the oldness of the cassette deck. I like it a lot. Good job.

it's very clean and warm, i like the inclusion of the tone and volume reflections, also i'm a sucker for the tiled wallpaper look.

if you could, do me a favor, and take a screen shot of the outlines crtl+y, and post that, just to show everyone the precision and whatnot..if not, whatever, i just think it's cool seeing the inner bindings of it all

Thank you chaps. This is of course a photo trace, so there is a certain amount of 'eyedropper tool' going on for colouring. But also alot of adjustment required for bits where the pixels don't allow you to see the exact texture etc. Couldn't get the speaker to look right so went for the old fashioned speaker mesh insted. That bit is a 'Swatch'.

seeing the outlines makes it look so simple, but you have a knack for color and reflection that can't be taught. again, you've knocked my socks off.

This is almost finished now. I've sorted out most of the text to the correct angles and have added better highlights. Also pulled together most of the dodgy joins and corners. Spent some time away from it on other projects and it's come together finally.

Almost ready to be printed for my Portfolio!!! :thumbsup:
