Sunset of the Rhino

Heres a painting I just finished, it's called Sunset of the Rhino. The actual dimensions are 16 x 12. Just wanted to share something that I consider a successful painting. Any comments are welcome.

I love this...very beautifully done. Delicate and strong all in one.

Terrific painting. Whooda thunk a rhino could look non-ugly (and still look like a rhino)?

That is the most graceful looking Rhino I've ever seen.

The colours you've used have put me in a new mindset towards the (usually) ugly beasts!

I'm glad I could help bring a more positive view.

im impressed that the rhino's personality ISNT replicated through the color. the reds are to warm to come off as mean and its a nice dichotomy.

Oh you may think YOUR painting is successful, but MY painting is DOCTOR.

Sorry. I've been around my Grandma a bit too much.

Seriously, GREAT job on the rhino. Really great.

Beautiful work! Hmm. Unlike everybody else, I like rhinos. I think they're majestic and interesting. One of my favorite animals, in fact. I absolutely love this painting. I'm amazed at the way you captured the ears! That little detail does it for me.

Gotta agree with the wicked - first time I've probably been eye to eye to one and it wasnt contemplating trampling me down on the way to dinner.

My favourite bit is the way you did the rhino's horn.

It's a great painting, well done.
