Is that cross-stitch? I've done some in the past, and knowing how hard that was I'm incredibly impressed! What a wonderful gift for you tecoyah.

I'm having a "whoa... no truly fitting words come to mind" moment. That is amazing.

Beautiful. The horses coming up out of the water.....I remember that from some movie... or book.... ahh crap. Someone help me out here. I know I've seen that before.
Anyway, just beautiful! Was it stitching? or was this a painting/coloring of some kind?

It was actually in The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. When Arwen is wisking Frodo away on horseback and the Ringwraiths attack them at the river. She does something and the river surges and a giant wave comes thundering down the river and seen in it is the image of stampeding horses made of water. Very cool effect. It's what the picture reminded me of. Just took me a moment to place the visual.
