The Simpsons on DVD

I was wondering just how many seasons have been released on DVD so far. I have seen the first two, but im not sure about any others? So what's the verdict? Thanks

I think it's only been the first two seasons so far. I wouldn't touch those with a ten foot pole, The Simpsons only became funny once Conan O'Brien started writing for them. I think that was season 3.

seems to me season 5 was the best. I think that was the season of "Terror Lake" and many others.

And the animation.
The first couple of seasons were pretty awful. I'd only buy them to complete the set. The latest ones are pretty awful too. The Simpsons should not still be running. They're killing it.
Season 3 is out on Region 2 on the 28th of July.

Think voices are the same, actors just refined the characters. Same with animators. Look at the old Tracy Ulman clips for some bad drawing.

Season 2 had some really funny stuff in it. Don't ignore a really good season because of the animation. After all, I don't think anyone really tunes into this show for how it looks.

People always say that the new ones are bad, but I can name you a bunch I think are classic:

The Medical Marijuana episode
The Screaming Caterpillar
Homer goes to Rock and Roll Camp
The Homer Clones on the Halloween episode
Moe turns his bar into a chic club
Etc., etc., etc.

I loved the Screamapillar Episode. And the Homer Clones one too.

I have a Hammock to sell you.
That's good!
But It has an Eviill Curse!
That's bad!
But it comes with free Frozen Yogurt.
That's good!
But the Yogurt also has an Evill Curse..
That's bad!
But it comes with Sprinkles...

maybe its not consistently as great as it has been in the past, but its still miles better than 95% of anything else on tv (in my humble opinion)

The best part about the first seasons is looking for all the screw-ups. It's mainly for memory lane than entertainment. I have both seasons on DVD and I will collect everything that is released. I love the Simpsons

Like the way Smithers is black, and how their address changes like 4 times.

The animation started to get more refined by the end of the 2nd season. To me there's nothing wrong with the first two seasons. They are just like every season with the Simpsons. Some episodes shine and others merely entertain.

Phil Hartman did a bunch of the voices, most notably Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz. Unfortunately he died in 98. He was one funny guy!
