Just started watching this a few weeks ago... I've seen the entire 1st season of the original aussie show... Gotta say when they try to "remake" those episodes the show is completely un-watchable, but now that they started to write new plots and storylines that are much more, (and i say this with a VERY sad pause...) "american appropriate" ... uh! that was painful... its an alright attempt at comedy. Nothing great or groundbreaking but just more slightly above mediocre stuff that seems to be filling the current programming grid on most network channels these days. I find it hard to believe how amazing Selma Blair looks at age 36... i mean holy crap, lets face it, she looks younger than i do! And that would normally be enough to activate this girl's "WTF! you hotter AND OLDER than me? UH uh!!!" alarm. But i try to be as fair and impartial to the source material as possible and not let my personal hangups taint my experience. DAMN YOU BITCH!!! uhm.. ok i'm fine now...

anybody else wanna kill, i mean watch the show?

I like the show, but I've never seen the "other" version. I've only seen the US version. I think it's way funnier than most shows (in a "Married With Children" kind of way). Selma is 36? Holy fucking shit. Look at those legs.

Selma Blair as Kim just doesn't make sense. The original actress in Oz (and one of the creative geniuses behind the show) is not particularly attractive and that is part of the joke - her character thinks she's hot. Apart from that, I can't comment on the US episodes because I haven't seen any of them.

Redjake I'm a family man - I run a family business. Location: Wilson, NC	I like the show, but I've never seen the "other" version. I've only seen the US version.
