It was hard not to vote for Wolverine because for a long time he was my favorite. And of those I would consider true X-men rather than walkons and casually associated independants he is definitely my favorite. I liked Wolverine because he could happily kill people who deserved it but he could also calmly sacrifice himself to save others. He seemed to be kind to those in need. He had a way of making women feel special that seemed to turn them on. And he did it all with style.

I thought about voting for Rogue because in the comics I read so long ago she was a hot older woman that could never die but could never make love (unless someone got creative.) But somehow that was spoiled for me by the bratty teen version of her.

In the end I had to vote for Other - Deadpool. He alternates between desperate, lonely fool and unsurpassed, unrelenting killer in the funniest way possible. The hilarious fourth wall abuse, the social commentary disguised as bitter irony and the surprising story twists are gems when I find them in any media much less a comic.

The first guy is a character from a computer game called League of Legends - his name is Twisted Fate, he has a dialect drawl just like Gambit, wears a trench coat, and throws playing cards that explode.

Ahhh the 'poolman.

I feel sorry for the people who only know him through the Wolverine movie.
