VH1 - I Love the 80's: Strikes Back

I've watched and enjoyed both series so far
I Love the 80s and
I Love the 70s
And they have announced that they are coming back and doing I Love the 80s Strikes Back next week.

I'm looking forward, anyone else?

Sweet - I'm definitely looking forward to this. The first I Love the 80s was great - I definitely plan on watching the second when I catch it.

Never really got into I Love the 70s personally....they're just not eighties-alicious!

Yep! Watching the original I love the 80's brought back many memories of my youth. If the next installment is half as good, then I'll be reaching back to a time that I've totally forgetten, but would love to remember.

I love "I Love the 80's!" Definately gotta watch it again. Thanks for posting this, or I might never have known it was on.

Since I was born in the 70s I can't say I get the same thrill watching I Love the 70s that I did watching I love the 80s. So I'm glad that they're doing another 80s one.

But is anyone else who has watches those shows getting sick of Mo Rocca? His shtick was funny for a little bit, but it's just grating now. Can he say anything serious? I feel like reaching through the T.V. and shoving that bow tie down his throat. And that guy from "Ed", I can do without both of them.

What I'd really like to see, though, is I love the 90s

90's would rock.
But yeah, I like Mo Rocca, but there are three guys on that show, who you know are going to say something for a laugh. Sometimes it's funny though.

Note: "next week" in this case means October 20 (Monday), two shows a night all week.

Both these shows are fun.

Anybody else noticing that 80's music is sounding more and more dated lately?

Thanks for listening.

No, but I'm feeling awfully "old fartish" these days. Nothing of any particular note seems to have been released in the last few years. Modern rock is dying out, all that is left is punk-pop and rap-rock. We need a shake-up.

Mo Rocca gets all over my last nerve. He has this elitist air about him and he's not very funny.

I had never heard of him before the last 80s show, and he was killing me. I hope he is in the new set as well.

The new series is good so far. Fun stuff. I think Mo is doing a better job of not making dumb comments.

Kneel before Zod. And Sebastian Bach wearing the "Annie" wig was funny as hell.

The new series is just as good as the first one, they managed to dig up even more stuff that I have forgotten. I think the funniest guy on the show is Michael Ian Black.

The whole Annie thing made me laugh so hard! When all of the celeb's had the wig on, I think I was crying!

So far, all the shows have totally rocked!

Mo Rocca, one of the television personalities on the show spoke at my college. He said that the I love the 80s strikes back was just all the stuff they didn't use in the first series and wouldn't be worth watching. He even said he got to unload some "Murder she wrote" bit that he had.

Very well made series!
I loved remembering the Wacky Wall Walkers.
Mine would always "die" after about 10 minutes of play, but I always wanted another one.

I'm baaaaack!

I love these shows. It just makes me remember what I loved, and how much I miss it. Kids these days don't have near as much fun as I used to. I think I might be too embarassed to watch an installment on the 90's, if they did one. Come on- do you remember what they were wearing during the In Living Color days? It was bad.

so did they digitally insert the 80s strike back banners behind them?
