Looney Tunes Back in Action

Just watched it over the weekend. I was thinking it was going to be horrible like Space Jam horrible... but it wasn't. It was well written, funny, entertaining, and there were some obscure characters from the Sheep Dog and Wolf to some old Sci Fi monsters.... well done.

I was hoping that the cartoon element would have been better like Roger Rabbit better, but it was still good.

Heather Locklear in a leather jumpsuit was smoking!!!!

anyone else?

I'll probably see it within the month. It looks pretty funny. I thought Space Jam was good though.

I've seen the previews. Cynthetiq, I got the impression the movie was geared toward kids. Since you've seen it, am I right or wrong in that thought?

yes it is geared to kids, but there's enough to keep the adults interested. some adult oriented jokes, and some old characters that kids have NEVER seen.

Neat, it sounds like I might have to give it a try at the matinee one day.

I am a WB freak, probably the only person bummed when they closed their stores. I'm wearing my WB logo hat today even.

Really looking forward to seeing this. Will probably wait and just buy the DVD.

Space Jam was cool, I have the video and have probably seen this 20 times.

I am 26 and hopelessly addicted to the old school WB and Disney cartoons. Prefer WB over Disney but Pixar is the new powerhouse.

That's all fair and well, haven't seen it myself but please give clear reasons to back up your arguements.

I'm taking my neice and nephew to a movie tomorrow and we were going to see Brother Bear or Elf, but I think I'd rather see this. I just don't need 2 little kids throwing a fit, so it'll be up to them.

I've never been a real fan of looney toons but if it comes to the dollar theater.. I'm game. Almost any movie is worth a buck to go see.

My wife, and I are both huge Bugs & Daffy fans. We took the kids too see the movie over the weekend. Although the kids liked it, we were both disappointed. It has a few funny scenes, mostly when the more obscure characters show up in cameos. There's also some great references to old WB sci-fi movies. I didn't like the new semi-3D animation. Joan Cusack was the best of the 'live' characters. She's always funny. Stay through the credits, there's a small bit at the end!

That proves you are a true fan. They love to add extras for those of us willing to sit through the credits. Thanks for the info on the movie. I'd like to take my daughter to see it, I am trying to turn her into WB fan. The new crop of 'toons just don't cut it.
