Choke

by Chuck P.

I did a search for it, and it seemed like there were no matches.

I thought this book was really good, I mean, it really didn't have a point or any crazy conflict, but I really enjoyed the writing style.

I also hear they're going to try to turn it into a movie. That should be interesting.

It's been a while since I read it, but I remember liking it. Although I thought the ending wasn't right... I thought it didn't fit with the style of the rest of the book. It involves building a house, right? Can someone refresh my memory on it? What was the ending's meaning?

Read everything he has :> All of his stories are amazing. They are a fun fast fun , did i mention fun? Great read.

As for a movie. It would be a decent one. But a really weird one . Abit more weird then fight club.

His buddy was building the house. That is why he was collecting all of the rocks. Cause he his friend had no meaning in life. So one day he realizes to go out and get rocks to build a house.

In the end it all comes crashing down cause the main character (i forgot his name)was seen by the TV crew and the audiance there. So they get pissed and break the home down. So all in all. Its back to where they started. :>

I guesss :>

Not quite Cardinal Syn, but close enough. I love that book and I love his books in general. Sometimes they do tend to get a little on the perverted side, for example the fake rape where he jerks it all over the place...just a little too much.

I can heartily recommend Invisible Monsters, although similarities to Fight Club are a plenty. It's an excellent, excellent read, irrespective.

I agree with kl0pper, I love survivor and fight club, enjoy invisible monsters, but beyond that Chuck's style is getting a little repetivie and stale; i know hes capable of something new and better.
