The Dark Tower

I am hopelessly hooked on this series, and June 8 is the date for the publication of Dark Tower VI.

There are obvious connections between certain Stephen King novels and the Dark Tower, but I'm starting to see connections in other novels that don't usually make the list.

For example, couldn't the bear/beast in "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" have been something created by North Central Positronics?

And what about the Langoliers?

Am I seeing too much now that I'm an official junkie?

I am curious to see just how far Roland's arthritis will get by the time he finally confronts The man in black/Randall Flagg/etc.

You know, I had let the arthritis sort of slip out of my mind. I think you're right in that it will end up playing a major part in the Final Battle.

When the "Wolves" came out, I had to go back and re-read the first four. I am so glad I did.

Of course after I read the Wolves, then I had to go back and re-read:

Spoiler: 'Salem's Lot, Eyes of the Dragon, The Stand & The Langoliers

Of course, that is keeping me busy until book 6 comes out.

I really ought to try again to get through Wizard and Glass.
After having seen Heinlein spend the last few years of his career jamming all his various characters together I am not that hopeful that King will tie it all together with a neat bow, but you never know.

I'm half way through "Wolves" right now, should finish up just in time for "Song of Susannah", providing I can get it from the library that is...
