There's a pretty big Improv Everywhere event going on this month on Governor's Island at 3:15 pm on Saturday, September 27. I've loved watching their stuff online, so I think I'll be headed in to participate this year.

This event is the fifth year of their Mp3 Experiment, where you download an audio track, press 'play' at the appointed time, and follow the directions. The above link shows video of the previous four years of Mp3 experiments.

Anyone want to join me? Or, anyone want to go to dinner somewhere that I can easily reach after the event by subway, and get to Grand Central to get back home afterword?

I was keeping an eye on this, though my excitement waned for it when I heard that it was going to be in a park on a remote island with limited bystanders. Well, if we can make a TFP thing, I'll be into it.

Unique among the Improv Everywhere events, the mp3 events are more for the participants than for the bystanders. I wouldn't worry about it being isolated. If I were within a days drive, I'd be there.
