Saw it in a magazine, so I decided to memorize it the best I could and create them at home. I bought a bunch of small 2 1/2" terra cotta flower pots- greased, floured then lined them with wax paper. Whipped up some yummy carrot cake and baked them for 15-20 minutes.
Then after they cooled, spread cream cheese frosting on top, then added green sprinkles for the *grass* effect. You can also add items to make *flowers*, but that usually requires candy, and we are having a candy-free Easter this year. Then I just used shipping labels and designed a "Happy Easter" on them and put them on the pots for everyone today.
Can't wait to see the expression on everyone's faces.
