I'm looking for some weird food combos that people like to eat.

How about these?
Soak stale bread in sweetened condensed milk, roll in coconut and grilled in butter in a frying pan til golden brown.

Peanut butter and:
Pickle relish
Bar B Que Sauce
Banana
Mustard
Bacon Bits
Mayonnaise
Avocado
Raisins

Tang and coffee creamer in the palm of your hand, lick it, tastes like a dreamsicle.

Chocolate Syrup mixed with Vernors, supposed to taste like chocolate covered cherries

Corn flakes mixed in cool whip

Ice Cream with potato chips

I enjoy putting ranch dressing on cold pizza.

Tophat665 05-24-2003 04:48 PM

I dip McDonalds' fries in their chocolate shakes. It's like a chocolate covered pretzel. with ice cream.

Hitchcock 05-24-2003 07:47 PM

Fried chicken and waffles...a classic!

hawkeye 05-25-2003 09:46 PM

I like to put pizza toppings on Cinnamon-Raisin bread.

splck 05-26-2003 10:46 AM

caviar and whipped cream on crackers.

Minx 05-26-2003 11:14 AM

Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches....sounds bizarre I know! And I love dipping cheddar cheese in Thousand Isle. dressing.

duckduck 05-26-2003 06:30 PM

Fridge Surprise:

1). Go to fridge
2). Grab all leftovers, sauces, etc.
3). Cook if necesarry or desired
4). Mix together (to the point it's almost liquified if so desired).
5). Consume by any means necessary

Different every time! ;)

(Yes, I actually do this every now and then. Sometimes with good results. Other times with not-so-good results).

Phaenx 05-26-2003 07:22 PM

Cheese wrapped bannana.

crackpot 05-26-2003 09:02 PM

Peanut butter, tomato, onion & doritos sandwich... a touch messy but great, esp. after drinking but before bed. I could swear that raw onion helps prevent hangovers.

Podmore 05-27-2003 08:21 PM

One day (when I was a bachelor) I poured myself a bowl of rice crispies but found that the milk had expired and smelled bad. I was going to put the cereal back in the box when I noticed that I had apple juice. I decided to try it, and it was actually good. The next day I gave it a try on granola just for fun, and that was pretty good too. I stopped doing it because I figured that the milk was better for me, but it really doesn't taste bad at all. A reasonable substitute.

Zotz 05-28-2003 04:32 AM

beef stroganoff on spanish rice......screw the noodles

I love PB&B sandwiches....

you should try a toasted bagel with creamcheese and bacon.

silverback 06-02-2003 10:16 PM

fresh cooked green peas make a nice sandwich.

Jolt 06-02-2003 10:25 PM

peanut butter and onion sandwiches are one of my personal favorites...but only in spring when Vidalias are fresh.

I've been told that's weird. I don't get it.

Cynthetiq 06-03-2003 05:59 AM

my friend swears by Cap'n Crunch and mustard.

sngx1275 06-04-2003 10:08 PM

Ranch on pop tarts

HiThereDear 06-05-2003 12:15 AM

Obviously I just have this at the movie theatre -
Popcorn and Reese's Pieces. You take a handful of popcorn, chew a little, then pop in a few Reese's, mmmmm.

rockafat1 06-05-2003 03:34 AM

speciality cheese on toast:
bread (surprise!)
peanut butter
potato crisps (or chips for your americans) crunched
covered in cheese
tabasco

cub4life78 06-05-2003 09:50 PM

First one in here that actually sounds REALLY good.

Snead Hearn 06-08-2003 12:20 PM

i take a mouthfull of condensed milk swish it around for as long as i can stand it then spit it back into the can and let then saliva/milk age in the fridge for at least a week then pour it onto a bowl of fresh jersey blueberries. then i wait for my brother-in-law to come over and raid my ice box. he allways goes for the berries. i hate that food-moochin' scumbag.

titsmurf 06-08-2003 05:59 PM

I'm kind of partial to minced beef and pickles on my bread. I'll put tabasco and ketchup on it if I'm out of pickles.

Cynthetiq 06-09-2003 05:16 AM

okay... another to add.. my personal favorite...

milk chocolate
Tropicana Grovestand Orange Juice

take bite of chocolate.... wait until it coats your mouth...
take a swig of OJ.

VirFighter 06-15-2003 01:26 PM

dtheriault 06-21-2003 06:03 AM

these are all good.

jam or jelly of any type on grilled cheese sandwiches.

brown sugar and butter broiled onto bread.

peanut butter-dilute with cream or veggie stock- add chilli oil and honey over pasta noodles.

salt on green apples.

ketchup on potato chips

orange juice in cereal (you'll never need sugar)

But not that weird, to be fair. Better than that, in the unweird vein, are peanut butter, banana and honey sandwiches. Preferably with comb honey.

yabobo 06-21-2003 01:04 PM

for a snack I take a hunk of really sharp cheddar
and a jar of Jiff chunkey peanut butter and eat togeather
sometimes I make a sandwich out of it. You must have milk or mountain dew to wash down....Yum yum

hyperrust 06-21-2003 02:28 PM

mashed potatoes covered with applesauce, then sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. tasty, and only semi-weird.

SpikeQX99 06-21-2003 02:35 PM

macaroni and cheese with BBQ Sauce...Yum.

Or

Peanut butter on a cold Flour tortilla

Special toaster?? Don't need no special toaster!!!
Just lay yours on it's side. Peanut butter up.
LOL JUST KIDDING DO NOT DO THIS!!!

Vyk 06-26-2003 03:29 PM

Not totally weird but I've gotten odd looks when I've eaten them:

Syrup and peanut butter mixed together in a bowl (preferably "crunchy P&B" for some extra texture). Put on top of crackers for extra fun.

Bananas sandwiched between Honey Maid Cinnammon Graham Crackers with honey and chocolate sauce as toppings.

Can you tell I have a sweet tooth? :)

diergray 06-26-2003 04:59 PM

Blue cheese dressing on pizza
creamy italian dressing on raviolis
fruit loops with chocolate syrup (pure energy!)

bfresh 07-01-2003 08:45 AM

I've always liked sliced pineapple and mayo sandwiches, can't really eat them @ home any more since it makes my wife sick.

mpedrummer2 07-03-2003 05:23 PM

Mac and cheese

add a handful of frozen peas about a minute before you drain it

and a can of tuna as you mix in the cheese and milk and butter.

oh yes.

doesn't work out with baked mac and cheese, though, has to be the cheap boxed stuff.
