Grab a calculator since most people cannot do this in their head.

Key in the first 3 digits of your telephone number. NOT the area code.

Multiply by 80.

Add 1.

Multiply by 250.

Add the last 4 digits of your telephone number.

Add the last 4 digits of your tephone number AGAIN.

Subtract 250.

Divide by 2.


Do you recognize this number? Hint: It should be your full telephone
number without the area code!

Now, if I could run that calculation and end up with Maleficent's phone number, that would be something. :D

Let this equal X.
80X
80X + 1
(80X + 1) * 250
Let this equal Y.
250(80X + 1) + Y
250(80X + 1) + 2Y
250(80X + 1) + 2Y - 250
Simplified:
20000X + 250 + 2Y - 250 = 20000X +2Y
10000X + Y
Or your first three digits as ###0000 plus the last four digits.
