What, exactly, is the "Show Business" that Kelly Brook is in, other than bearing her tits in a Lad's Mag, and garnering her fame from it as such?

I don't mean this to sound critical, but if anything at all irks me in forum composure and dalliances, it's this some kind of "above-it-all" sense of entitlement that some attribute to themselves, stating "How come nobody has mentioned this yet? Are you guys living in a box?"

The above is just a representative example, and is not meant to disparage or attack you, Chilly, I just have some kind of tick when it comes to the phrase, "What, no such-and-such? Blasphemy!".
Sorry, you were just yet another example of this practice, and I wanted to address it. Wrong time, wrong phrase to use in front of me, I guess. :surprised:



Alas, I don't know a thing about Kelly Brook, other than what Wikipedia told me three minutes ago. it seems she has had minor roles in TV and film, so that's my fault for not knowing her blossoming popularity. I think I've ignored her for a reason. Her look kinda scares me.

But... as I've searched this thread, I've noticed that another "Page 3" girl has not been mentioned either, so I'll do so now, quietly.
(without bringing undue attention to me by telling everyone what is their problem by not thinking of her earlier...) :p

She also dated Jason Statham and Billy Zane. Ok, maybe not such a great resume :)

I didn't quite mean it like that, though I can see how it might come across that way. I was just expressing my surprise how the thread had run for 5 pages and a couple of years and no-one mentioned her - especially when she's not the only person to be very vaguely in showbusiness in this thread, though in hindsight the vast majority of people here aren't going to know her unless they've spent much time in the UK.

Dude, I don't know much about Carla Gugino either, but that photo, which I've seen hundreds of times, is among my all-time celeb favorites. Was she in the latest rendition of "Night at the Museum?

Don't think she was, but she was in the first one. Her most recent films have been Race To Witch Mountain and Watchmen, where in heavy makeup she played the orginal Silk Spectre, though I'd have much prefered it if she played Silk Spectre II given that she's better looking (close call) and a much better actress than Malin Akerman (not a close call).

Baraka_Guru: I didn't really want to bump this thread again, well, because, I fear some of my past women might have some broken links and images in them. I know, kind of weak, but I do like having all of my past, present and future shares in one thread able to be viewable forever (however unfeasible that may be).

I was thinking about, and going to, starting a new "Celebrity-Hot-Pics" commons anyway (though with my procrasinator tendencies, it might have been a long time coming), but maybe I should just find and fix whatever few shares I've made here first.
