Who else hates their name?
My last name is Hancock. You can't even begin to imagine my school life
And everyone seems to spell it Handcock. It's been made worse by comedians like Tony Hancock (no relation but older TFP'ers will have heard of him) Grrrrrr

2 years ago I was sitting at a local college hockey game and I see somebody hold up a sign that says #19 Hiscock is huge! I'm thinking WTF is that about?
Well, on the opposing team.... #19. Chris Hiscock. He was 6'4 245. I betcha Hiscock's cock was huge

I had a journalism teacher in Jr high that claimed she went to school with two girls named Ima and Ura Pigg- we refused to believe- so she brought her yearbook- damned if it was'nt true- seems that the story behind the names was that their dad had lost a bet with a buddy (some buddy). Also in my town there is an auto dealership run by a man named Richard Head- that would have to suck... apparently if you work for him you never call him "dick" (he has fired people for this)

Hancock is NOTHING!!!!
I had a friend in high school whose last name was Hiscock. I guess his parents thought they were funny, so they named him Preston. Preston Hiscock. Pressed on his cock. Try going through life with THAT name!!!! As for my own name, I wish I had a less common one than Ryan. Something unique that would make people say 'wow that's a cool name!!'

While working in the camera store a couple months ago, this big round guy came in to buy a few things. He gave me his charge card and I checked the name out like I usually do,
Richard Bagg took me a few minutes to get it. Jesus, WTF were his parents thinking. "Hmmm, gosh, lets have some fun and traumatize our little boy his whole life". Imagine in school, "hey you Dick Bagg". All I could say when he left the store, "WTF". |

I could have sworn the dude's name was Chris, but I just looked at Mercyhurst's page and they list him as P.J. Hiscock. Apparently he played for a hockey team in Oakville from 1997-1999, I think. Could he be the same guy you're talking about? How crazy would that be???

I used to work at a portrait studio, and the parents have to fill out the card with their kids' names and birthdates. This one guy named his two young daughters "Alexis" and "Mercedes." I thought that was kinda strange. I wonder if he knowingly named both his daughters after cars.
I worked with a guy whose last name was "Rector." Okay, that is the extent of my bad name input. My name is common. My middle name is Lee. So is half the country's. I should do a poll, two options: is your middle name "Lee"? Yes or No. |
