I love the ocean...why don't I live closer?
 

I wish the ocean where closer to me. I love the sound, the motion, the smell of the big water. I am stuck in Wisconsin and all I have is the "Great Lakes". What a bummer for me. ANy suggestions? Other than, move to the ocean?

rivers?.............any near by?

go there and tune into what the river has got to say.

either that or......move near the ocean....hehehe

get in boat on those great lakes?

when i visit my family in indiana i have fun in brother's boat on the ohio river.

had fun on the lake where my dad had a weekend cabin when i was a kid.

but yeah... you can't beat a good ocean. love my pacific. yeah. it's mine! :D hehe

mate, lakes are shit.
i hate swimming in anything that doesn't have a surf... and that includes flat shitty beaches like the ones i visited in Northern Bali.

for your condition, i diagnose a relocation to the seaside... there is no substitute.

Well, I made it happen. I move to the West coast in a few weeks. :)

Hence my nickname, you could only guess. I live only 2 1/2 hrs. away from the ocean, only 15 minutes from Puget Sound. It is glorious to wake up to the sound of waves- we got to the ocean every labor day weekend, and really need to go more often. Someday I will be able to walk out to it.

Really? cool! But won't you miss 'consin hehe. You'll be wishing you had those Great Lakes sometime, when you're sick of salt water hehe.

No seriously, congrats.. it's great when people can realise a dream and make it happen.

Ya...isnt that stupid? I grew up on a dairy farm and I can almost gaurantee that most people in LA have never seen a cow. But hey......who am I to judge? :D :lol:
