My cousin has been collecting Canadian Tire money since it came out. He hasn't spent a dime of it and has somewhere in the area of $230. I didnt believe him at first either. but then he showed me shoe box he kept it in....i tell you...its a load of cash, even though it it only CT money.

I buy from CT all the time and use the money when we get a couple of hundred dollars, usually to buy tools 'n Stuff (can NEVER have too many clamps!). We have a couple of Home Hardware stores and a local Kent Building Supply (another IRVING company) and are way too expensive so CT is just aboutthe only way to go, wish they sold Lumber.
We had (he died recently)the owner of a taxi company/bootlegger/drugs who accepted CT money on par with real money. It must have been okay for him as I talked with a friend that works there and he said that this guy usually spent a few thousand a month there. |
