How do you take your Tims?
What could be more Canadian than starting the day at Tim Hortons?
So whats your morning Tims? Mines XL Black and Bagel (blueberry) toasted with butter.

XL Double-Double
and on days when I don't have time for breakfast at home, i'll get a toasted sesame seed bagel with butter, chedar-cheese, and tomato - sprinkled with salt and pepper. I don't like the toffee donuts, taste too rich like the krispy kreme ones

Hmm... I thought this was about my boyfriend.
I didn't realize they had mocha's and such. Are they on par with Starbucks, or more along the lines of something you'd find at your local gas station?

averett, tims is a donut shop- kinda like any fast food place, but they don't sell as much food. It started out just coffee and pasteries (donuts at first) then expanded their menu to include sammiches and soup n other desserts.
It's nummy! I like their coffee more than starbucks, it's less "gritty".

Coconut and peanut-covered non-frozen-and-shipped-in-from-Ontario-doughnuts. Oh wait, that was before, when Tim's had good doughnuts (they cut a bunch to make them more "lunch-restaurant"-y intstead of "doughnut shop"-y) and made them fresh every day.
Okay, fine, and the occasional Iced Capp made with chocolate milk. Sorry about the bitter nature of my post. |

Large triple triple - or Med. double double - not a big coffee fan in general but that creamyness with just the right amount of sweetness is incomparable.

Medium double-double with cinnamon raison bagel with strawberry cream cheese (toasted of course).
I recently went to a Tim's in Michigan and they just don't get it down there...nobody was there. I haven't found coffee that I really enjoy in the States.

Okay, I had heard good things about this half hot chocolate/ half coffee mixture so I decided to give it a go last night... oh sweet merciful god I cant think of anything that possibly tasted worse.
Lesson learned here... coffee is good, hot chocolate is good. Mixing the two, well thats not so good.

we have this tradition in our office called rookie cookies.
Where the rookie meets everyone by bringing cookies to bribe everyone to come over and visit. You do it everytime you join the company, move teams, get a new role, etc. I bring rookie timbits

I only go to Tim's when I am driving to the cottage... I stop in at the one in Bancroft and usually get:
XL Milk with double sugar, a box of 20 timbits for the kids and sour cream glazed for me.
