Is it me or is Global news program actually getting more annoying everyday?

I'm talking about Global's Calgary, I don't know if its only in Calgary but it seems that it's becoming more unprofessional compared to other news network.

For example, I've had to endure watching the dumb interactive weather report where the weather man just poke a particular point on the screen like the city of edmonton and its current temperature would be bold and then unbold.

Same for the weeky weather. You've got all those damn text everywhere and bunch of stupid weather animations that they think is so cool and continue to make "improvements" to it.

Most of the correspondent on the news are just plain unfucking professional. I wanna hear the news, I don't want to hear your stupid nappy remark. Even the weatherman has the tendency to walk on and off the screen and that's just annoying.

Even before they cut to commerial, it's normal for them to give us viewer a preview of what's next right? Well, they add text like "SPORTS IS NEXT!" Oh wow! I'm so excited! Golfing is awesome! How about fucking take the damn examination marks off!

No thanks, I'd prefer to watch CTV from now on...

I don’t think I've ever watched a whole hour of Global news here in Ontario. I always watch CTV or CityTv news.
Something about Global news I don’t like, but I can’t put my finger on it.

I never watch Global in Edmonton, if it's on, I frantically change the channel. Of course I can't talk about the whole Global network thing, since I've never seen a Calgary version, but in Edmonton the set is the ugly, the weatherman annoys the HELL out of me, and the lead male anchor thinks he's so hip just because he's in a band.

I also watch CTV.
