Battlefield 1942 Mod

This is the single biggest mod I have ever seen for a game. Dont let the web site fool you, there are more than 100 historically accurate vehicles and dozens of real weapons to use, they`re just too busy making them to update the website with every little addition they make. Plus their forums are pretty cool as well.

Check out the Forgotten hope mod here!!!

Here are some pics to whet your appetite!

Wow very nice indeed. Lots of quality stuff in there.

Its a shame I dont like BF1942.. due to huge arse map load times.

Pretty amazing, I was going to download the GC Mod but I heard it's terribly buggy, I'll wait until a better release comes out.

Forgotten Hope is gonna be releasing a first release any week now. I'm finally gonna be able to drive a panther or a King Tiger, fly a Me-262, or Send a Panzerfaust of a sherman's tail pipe.

Impressive but I still prefer and recomend the modern day Desert Combat...it's in Alpha and the thing just owns.

Can you play in the single player mode? Or is it just for online multiplayer?

that looks cool and all, but unless you are a history buff, I don't see how it is that different then the original game. There are some pretty cool different weopons and vehicles I would not mind checking out though.

Lately I have been a True Desert Combat Fan...the servers are popular as all hell and the game rocks without a bug worth mentioning. The fact that it is modern warfare is the bomb! (no pun intended).

Battlefield Pirates comes in at a strong close second, followed up by Battlefield 1982, Galactic Conquest and HydroRacers.

Well, it's out.

I'm having troubles finding a download that I don't have to wait in line for (I hate Fileplanet with a passion).

Anyone find a good link?
