I just got this for free at Comp USA (after $15.00 mail in rebate). Has anyone played this game? I'm a fan of the other R6's; I've read good reviews on this but don't know anyone who actually has it.

I like it. I wish they had at least some smaller, more everday maps. I think Urban Ops was the best with the grocery strore map. Bad guys don't just take hostages in nuclear plants or oil platforms.

Raven Shield is a great game. I have played a few Tom Clancy's, and I think this is my favorite squad based. Playing multiplayer is really fun, especially in a LAN setting.

I loved the single player, but i couldn't get my friends to play any co-op at our last LAN. Shame, i can see it being quite a bit of fun.

The opnly Rainbow Six game I played was the first one, I rented it, played it once the same night, and didn't touch it the next few days. I hated it, hopefully these other Rainbow Six games are better than that.

Since you rented it I'd guess it wasn't the PC version.

Big difference in quality.

i loved rogue spear...especially with the 2mad mod
the smoking hole stealth tactical assault rifle owned

raven shield is freaking good tho

I like realistic games.. but this one I found almost TOO realistic.

I suppose I realized I dont like games SO structured that if you make a loud sound the terrorists kill the hostages, and you just wasted 15 minutes of sneaky kills trying to get to them.

Great audio visuals, but the gameplay got to me too much, and I quit about halfway through.

Rainbow Six 3? If so I've heard great things about this and I think I'm going to have to pick it up for the game play and Xbox live. I guess there goes Wolfenstien...

I just picked this game up for the Xbox on last Wednesday, and I've logged around 18 hours in the Xbox Live Multiplayer co-op missions alone. It is a hell of a lot better than that piece of shit Wolfenstein.

I've heard RTCW for Xbox was hacked! People using God Mode and walk through walls... R63 is a good game online. It's a little laggy. You can tell when people are close by cuz even though you can't see them yet, the frame rate drops a bunch. Still a good game if you find the right servers.

yeah, Wolfenstien got hacked. Some people have hacks set up so that if they shoot you, your frozen for a fixed amount of time, that eventually leads to you being booted from the server. The same happens if you shoot them. There are also people using a flying cheat and infinite ammo cheat as well. The only good thing out of all this is that as far as I know everyone that cheats like this has their name in bright mult-colored letters when you check the teams. Thus you can tell if the game has hackers in it or not...

Another good thing is that the cheating isn't that wide spread so far...
