What's you #1 most FAVORITE song in a game???

Hey there...So here's the question...what's you most favorite song in a game??? How bout posting a link to the song so everyone can listen to it...just do what I'm about to do:

My favorite song has to be the song from Final Fantasy 8...I swear that song makes me sad for some reason...and the scene where it was played in the game...it brought tears to my eyes...it's so beautiful...here's an MP3 of it...CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO IT..here's also a neat techno mix of it...CLICK HERE for Techno...That song at the end of FF7 was also real cool...here's the lyrics if ya wanna sing along......

Wherever sang my song
On the stage, on my own
Wherever said my words
Wishing they would be heard
I saw you smiling at me
Was it real or just my fantasy
You’d always be there in the corner
Of this tiny little bar

My last night here for you
Same old songs, just once more
My last night here with you?
Maybe yes, maybe no
I kind of liked it your way
How you shyly placed your eyes on me
Oh, did you ever know?
That I had mine on you

*CHORUS*
Daring, so there you are
With that look on your face
As if you’re never hurt
As if you’re never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are no dreamer

So let me come to you
Close as I wanted to be
Close enough for me
To feel your heart beating fast
And stay thereas I whisper
Did you ever know
That I had mine on you

Daring, so share with me
Your love if you have enough
Your tears if you’re holding back
Or pain if that’s what it is
How can I let you know
I’m more than the dress and the voice
Just reach me out then
You will know that you’re not dreaming
*CHORUS*

Hmm. I like the music at the opening of Silent Hill 3. It's way too new to post a link that WOULDN'T be stealing. So I shan't. Shadow of the Beast had some rocking music. "Death Theme", since I can't find "Agony."

I'm still a sucker for any Final Fantasy battle music. It just gets me pumped up for whatever reason.

I love all of the music from the SNES (and playstation and PS2) final fantasy games, but I think Guilty Gear X/Guilty Gear X2 have the best soundtrack I have ever heard in any game.

Awe of She on guilty gear X2 is amazing.

Easy, the Tetris theme song. I can never quit listening to it, I've memorized the three version on my ancient Gameboy version, and I hum it sometimes too. It's simply the best!

Wish FLCL was a game - Carnival was my fav song from it

But if I really have to choose a game I'd have to say the songs from FF2(US), FF3(US), and FF7

not sure about Music... but i do like listening to Amy´s radio station in Vice City.

i guess for music i´m going to have to go with the Madame Butterfly aria on the Classic Music station in GTAIII... that music + jumping a bus in slow mo into the sea... what a beautiful way to die.

Mine is the tune in the opening title of Sim City for the SNES. I could listen to that loop for hours.

Then there's all six tracks from Vib Ribbon on the PS2. I must have listened to it 20 times in a row without getting tired of it.

Yeah, that was great stuff. Another one from the past was Lunar:Silver Star for the Sega CD. The traveling music was a catchy tune I never got tired of hearing. http://www.angelfire.com/ny/dezmoowu/segamusic.html has the midi of it. Download the Lunar:Silver Star zip file and listen to tssburg2.mid. IMHO good stuff.

all time favourite game music is from a game called "Gemfire" for Super Nes. The music played after a battle while you were deciding what to do with prisoners was the best.

Also like FF9 song with Tidus and Luna at the camp, it's a song by Rikki(sic)

There was this game in 1992 that I was hooked on.. it was called INCA, and made by Coktel Vision (the Gobliiins people). The CD-ROM format was just beginning to permeate our homes, and PC games started to take advantage.

This was the first game I've ever gotten which had a CD track for the audio. The opening sequence, and the song "Inca People" blew me away. I'll see if I can dig up my copy and rip to MP3...

Let's see... The original musical score for GTA3 is pretty good... Quake2 is pretty good... but I think I'm gonna go with Warcraft2's theme. Maybe I like it so much because I heard it so much while waiting for my friends to call my modem for multiplayer... heh... yeah, back when computer's had modems....

I love Frog and Lucca's theme from Chrono Trigger, and I liked most of the Music from Chrono Cross, It had a nice calypso sound to it.

I am a stickler for the original Mario Bros. Theme song, but then, who isn't?

The Morrowind main theme.
Grim Fandengo and Monkey Island had some good music too.
Age of Mythology main theme.
No One Lives Forever 2 has many old school spy type songs.
Battlefield 1942 main theme (baba bum ba BA BUMP!!)
Zelda
And in C&C: Generals, the heavy guitar song comes on when you're in a battle and gets things pumpin.

Thats it for now, well, classic Mario and Mario 3 for NES
