I am surprised no one has posted anything about his game yet! It looks fantastic. Who has it already? Who has played it? Tell us what you think. We need reviews! I hope its as good as it looks. Thanks

I'll wait for Pacific Assault for the PC which looks much much better. However Rising Sun still looks incredible, will be getting my preview copy shortly.

IGN gave it an 8 across all platforms. That's not bad, but not worth a purchase for me. They said that the graphics go from "the best" all the way down to "not as good as first-gen PS2 games." That's weird. I noticed that with Frontline as well.

I know graphics aren't everything; just posting a few thoughts from IGN. My brother is playing Call of Duty which is amazing. I'll probably end up playing CoD if I have a WWII crave!

Well, I've got it for PS2 and it's pretty good. There are areas where the graphics really suck. In certain areas of the jungle and the caves the graphics could use a bit of help. I only just started it so, the weapons leave a little to be desired. I know you're using weapons of the time in this but, they could be better I think.

**edit** Scratch the pretty good comment. I've since finished the game and it blows. Too short, not very exciting, few side missions. Not worth it, get something else.

I would highly reccomend against buying this. Bottom line is Pearl Harbor is a pretty darn good level but this game stinks. Overall the graphics are pretty crisp but a lot of textures are bland. Secondly, the hitboxes, or lack there of make the game more frustrating than it needs to be. To elaborate, you can shoot a person in the chest but it almost always takes more than a few shots (4-7) just to take one man down. Another thing is, if you shoot someone in the leg they may hop or if you hit a man in the chest an animation occurs such as hopping up and down or grabbing their chest. This animations spurs off but it can make them look like they're dead when in fact they are not.

Overall, I'd say rent it at best but wait for Medal of Honor Pacific on PC. Mouse and Keyboard can't be beat.
