Natural Selection anyone?

just curious to see how many NS players there are here. i like the whole rts/fps deal. it works quite nicely. unless your commander is an idiot. can't wait for the next update.

I also liked NS, but i was just testing the mod out, not really into playing it for any long stint of time. I really liked the play mechanics of it though (unless your captain was a dumbass). I found it really fun to pick the "fatty" alien and just go around healing people and building turrents. Yay for support classes!

I enjoyed it only for a short time.
I can't stand any FPS multiplayer where i have to wait around to join in.
some of the aliens were kinda cute, heh

man oh man

I played NS for like 4 or 5 straight months... that game is sweet, I founded clan XoverZero which is currently #2 on the OGL. I can't play from where I'm currently living which is a bummer. Clan play at a very high level is pretty one sided, sadly, but it's such a sweet game on public servers, VERY different than anything else out there. I suggest anyone at al interested in some new HOTNESS for their half-life installation check out www.natural-selection.org

yeah I loved it...... all of the aspects of the game are really cool, but I liked the aliens the best.... just upgrading to the enormous rhino/elephant alien(cant recall name right now) was the BEST, it was just that good feeling that you've already won

NS rocks but gets fustrating when you have people who don't play as a team. It just ruins the game.

I played NS for a while, but around 1.03 I got kinda sick of it. Same strats being used over and over. I didn't find the patches to be that helpful.
I'll probably play again when 1.1 is fully released.

The Jetpack is what made Duke Nuke 3d such a fun game in multiplayer. I find Battlefield1942 a lot of fun for the same reason.
The newest Battlefield 1942 expansion is going to have the prototype Nazi jetpacks that were introduced in World War II. Yes, jetpacks. I'm not too excited about that, but some people are. Either way, it'll make the game even more...interesting.
