The new version of the pirates mod is out. It's pretty fun. Low budget, definitely, but funny and pretty fun to play.

Ive played that. Battlefield is great for mods, www.desertcombat.com and www.eodmod.com are the best ones in my opinion.

The pirates mod is pretty cool but it just doesn't compare to DC

Generally when thier two completely diff game types, they would be hard to compare.

Dc is cool and all, but i dont think he made this thread for others to boast about it.

Pirates is a intresting mod, more along the lines of funny to mess with , but nothing serious for me.

I've messed with it once but found no online servers to play on, and on your own it bores easily

That was about 6 months ago though so it might be time to give it a try again....

well if you would have read all the posts instead of just "waiting for your turn to speak" then you would see that he is the one that started the "Boasting" by saying the pirates mod is "cooler."

if someone antagonizes me for something I didn't even start, then I definitely "care." Yes, it's two different games, kids, and yes, pirates is fun. That doesn't change the fact I was blamed for boasting about DC when the first person boasted that Pirates was cooler. My house!

The canons on the ship (the ones that are more like sniper canons..) are so cheating :P

Pirates is fun fun game but just for a short period of time.
