trading in games

Never again will I do this. A while ago I had Valkyre Profile for the psone. I traded it in. Probably got about 20 in store credit. Wel, now I want to get it again. I originally paid 45 for it. Now I cant get it for less than 95 dollars. Argh!!!!! The strategy guide goes for almost 40. From now on, I hold on to all my games. Anyone else have an experience like this that they regret in some way?

I used to do the same for my Nintendo 64 games. Back then I was too young to have a real job, so I had to use birthday present cash and christmas cash and the like to buy games. As soon as I was done, I traded it and got another one. I still wish I had all my games.

Luckily, I kept all my PSX games. Every one of them. And it's quite a bit (for someone who didn't have a job until the ass end of the spectrum). Haven't traded/sold a game since.

Trading in games can be horrbile deals unless you really hate the game.

I only trade in games I know I won't play again. I hardly have enough time to finish the new games I just bought, let alone games I already beat and have no desire to play again...

Screw trading games, sell 'em to friends or on auction if you really need to. I'm still upset about selling my Mega-Drive collection, luckily I was able to buy it back from various sources last year but still, was a bad move.

I still have my 2 NES consoles and every system I've gotten since then. All my consoles prior to NES were stolen by the movers. The bad part is that I sold so many of my NES and SNES games. I decided back then that I wouldn't sell anymore of my games.

I used to do that when I have my Snes. I used to have a lot of games like around 30 something. Now I only have 2 left, Zelda LTTP and Chrono Trigger. There is a lot of trades that I regret super metroid , street fighter 2, Megaman x2, Donkey Kong Country, Double Dragon......

I stopped trading during the psx/n64 era.
