Yup, EA now has the rights for the next game EA vs. Marvel or Capcom or something, sounds like arse but we'll see.

Capcom don't have the Marvel license anymore. EA bought the it and they are making a vs game. Probably Marvel Vs EA or something. I wish capcom could make MvC3.

Man, you got my hopes up! Oh well, I guess I'll see how this EA version turns out...

I was never able to get into the street-fighter style 1 on 1 games... people always flocked to the MvC series, but I never understood the allure :confused:

It just seems so damn boring. Fight! BMABMAMBMABMABMBMABMA!! You lose!

I read it somewhere in the new Gamepro that EA is creating their own new set of heroes for the game.

I can understand why some people find that genre boring. But Street fighter was basically the game that raised me. Everytime I play another incarnation of the street fighter serie, its like I play something Ive been playing for like for 12 years. Its just the nostalgic factor. Plus, after 12 years of playing the same game, Ive managed to get pretty good at it.

I just love fighting games. I still remember when the genre exploded like 10 years ago and all those clones started appearing. Anyone remember "Are you tuff N uff?" That had to be the worst name for a fighting game.

Old school games own the world, I especially loved the warning before the game started saying "Don't do Drugs!".

Street Fighter to me is the perfect fighting game, SSF2T is my all time fave, I can't wait to be playing it again on the Big Screen (evolution of TV screens, now I'm on a 43", *drools*).
