The most violent game I've ever played would have to be Manhunt with The Suffering at 2nd.

Soldier of Fortune was damn violent, and pretty realistic. But I haven't played some of the games mentioned on here, so that's just my opinion at the moment. I definitely have to check out some of the games you all talked about, they sound squeamishly fun.

Bleh, it really annoyed me how the AI would see you even though you were behind bushes or something so I never bought. It just seemed like a gimmick game.
