I am getting my xbox today I hope and will probably modify it. if it's not considered warez, anyone have any tips/comments?

I also want to get it on-line but i'm not paying $100.

SPLEEN EDIT: for content that isn't allowed on the board.

Mod'ing your XBox is not warez. It is perfectly legal, aside from the fact that Microsoft really doesn't want you to do it, and they block you from XBox-live services.

Anyway, you can do whatever you want with your XBox. But PLEASE do not ask for games, how to hack the servers, or anything like that.

that's what i thought. I frown upon (not for TFP's sake) pirating full games that are in stores, myself.

we can discuss emulation? like about old nintendo emulators?

i'm not trying to push boundaries. i just wanna know.

Emulators are fair game. Nothing wrong with emulators. But just like you said, No Pirating Full Games. That includes roms.

Emulators - Nesticle, ZSNES, Snes9.x, nnnesterj, etc. all of them are fine.

Maybe I'll invent an "intelligence emulator". You could like carry one around in your pocket, and then when some brainless idiot begins blabbering at you, you can stab it into their forehead, and suddenly their words become much more well-spoken and understandable.

However, it being an "emulator", the effects are only illusory as the person won't actually get any smarter.

Let's try to stay on topic people. If you just HAVE to post something because the little voices in your head tell you to, go for a walk or something. We dont need to hear every little fleeting thought passing through that space between your ears. If it doesn't add to the conversation, lets try to keep it to ourselves
