Don't these people ever learn?

It goes like this:

• pg. 1: moron tries to scam.
• pgs. 2-4: people catch on, moron defends self, pile-on ensues, moron gets banned, reappears, gets banned, reappears, etc.
• pgs. 3-10: discussions about finding his house, calling police, posting his personal info., etc.
• pgs. 11-65: everyone in the world chiming in from other forums and using as many euphemisms for being owned that could possibly be imagined along with references to the other forums where similar incidents have occurred, regular members talk about how famous their forum is now until bandwidth is exceeded. Discussions turn to locking thread.

That's my cynical take on it.

the whole thing is sort of anti-climactic currently, as the scammers have yet to be really caught (by the authorities). It is interesting to see it as it happens. It is close to my house too...
