The Tribulations We Face In Life
 

A pompous minister was seated next to a roughneck on a flight to North Dakota.

After the plane was airborne, drink orders were taken.

The roughneck asked for a whiskey with a beer chaser, which was brought and placed on his tray.

The flight attendant then asked the minister if he would also like a drink he replied in disgust, "I'd rather be savagely raped by a brazen whore, than let liquor touch my lips."

After hearing this the roughneck blinked a couple of times then handed his drinks back to the flight attendant and said, "I didn't know we had a choice."
