survival test
 

a researcher brought three men of american, mexican and chinese descent to an island.

researcher: "i want to test your survival skills on this island"

he turns to the american: "i want you to build shelter"

he turns to the mexican: "i want you to prepare food"

he turns to the chinese: "and i want you to gather supplies"

the researcher informs them that he will return after 3 months to check on their progress.

three months pass and the researcher returns to the island to check on his test subjects. he first approaches the american and finds a very elaborate, 3 story house. the researcher is quite impressed and says to him: "good job!"

the researcher proceeds to look for the mexican and finds him with a great big feast prepared. the researcher is yet again, quite impressed at the progress of his subjects, and says to him: "good job!"

the researcher, still impressed, proceeds to look for the chinese. after hours of searching, the researcher can not find the chinese man. as it is getting late, and is so far impressed with 2/3, he figures he can still go home feeling good. he turns around, ready to leave, when all of a sudden the chinese man jumps out of the bushes and yells.............

"SUPPLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

umm..... Ohhh... I see.... he has a chinese accent....

Funny as hell. I wonder how long this will stay up before a mod gives it the boot?

i'm sorry. i read all the other jokes pertaining to other ethnic groups and felt it would be ok.

if it's gonna be booted, i'm sorry, won't happen again. but if it's any consolation, i'm chinese. so i figured in some way, it won't be offensive.

well, the thing is, oriental people usually say L with an R sound...like, brocolli would be brocorri. Still funny though :)

I dont think its wrong... How can admitting that chinese people have an accent and can sometimes mistake words...

very funny. Being a wella fargo west coast tech, I speak with lots of west coast bankers who are of oriental descent.
