removing bugs

What is the most effective way of removing bugs from my car windscrene. The basic washes dont seem to work and I am left with little bits stuck to my screne

A stiff brush..... if that dosen't work, soap the windscreen up real good and use a 1 1/2 inch razorblade.... just hold it at a 45 degree angle and use light strokes.

Go to one of those car washes where people wash your car by hand. Complain until they clean the bugs off.

In the USA we have a product called "Bug and Tar Remover." It does the job. I don't know if its sold on your side of the pond.
