fuel injector cleaner on carpet

i left a bottle of STP fuel injector cleaner under my car seat and it leaked all over, causing a greasy mess under my seat. it's not a big deal, but i hate reaching under there when my nephew drops his toy and pulling out a greasy hand. any ideas how to clean it up? i'm thinking to get the febreeze auto upholstery cleaner and starting with that, but if someone has another suggestion, i'm all eyes. thanks

Hmmmm, I would unbolt the seat and take it out of the car then soak the spot with Woolite carpet cleaner..... let it soak for awhile then scrub the spot with a stiff brush, then vacuum with a shop vac. this would work with most stains but if it's greasy you might try dish soap first, then the Woolite.

thanks Ashton, before your post tho, i tried some Blue Magic, sprayed it once, dabbed it off and scrubbed with cloth, then repeated. then i finished it off with some Febreeze, and it seemed to do the trick just fine. oh yeah, and of course, i did unbolt the seats. thanks.

Ammonia is the perfect stain remover.
