About Painting...

So I want to paint my bedroom, and am a little unsure of which way to go. I really like the idea of beige and blue walls. My question is- should I do 3 walls beige and have one accent wall that is blue? Or two beige walls and two blue. My room is rectangular shaped and I would do the two longest walls beige and the shorter one's blue. Any idea, or reccomendations??

or you could do a 2-layer all around, which we are going to do in our bedroom here soon.
Bottom half of walls be one color (mask off a straight line with masking tape half-way up the wall first) then the top half of the walls paint another shade. You can then put an accent trim between the two colours.
Just an idea, but go to a paint shop and ask them.

We did that in our kid's rooms. Looks great.

If you want to stick with Plan A, however. Paint the one accent wall blue.

I would agree, just do one wall in the blue. You want to emphasize the blue wall, so just go with the one.

Let us know how it turns out...

one wall blue... the accent is normaly looks the best when its the wall that faces the door... stripes might be cool... not little ones, but big thick ones, just a little making tape and off you go

I painted my room with three walls a darker shade of blueish silver, and one a light shade of silver/blue, turned out great, did the trim white with a really light ceiling (that's just a tad shade of blue). I would definitely do ONE accent wall.

Great advice guys. Sounds awesome. I am very excited to start.. I just have to really decide what colors I want to use. My bed frame and dresser and side table are silver, and the rest of the things in my room ie) sheets ect.. are blue and white. Do you think beige and blue will look good? Or could u reccomend any other combo of colors that would look good with the colors in my room??
