now that school is out for the summer I wanna make a shelf to hold my books....u know make it look like I actually used them

Anyway anyone know where I can find some free plans on the net so I can whip this bad boy into shape? Thanks.

Since this isn't likely to be a structure you'll show your grandkids, get the cheapest planks you can find, separate them with cinder blocks, and rest in the knowledge that you're sharing a time honored tradition.

haha i forgot... wall mountable... but I guess i could get multiple blocks to make it up to the hiegth i want.

If you're just looking for a single shelf that mounts on a wall, you might try a large craft store of all places. Most I have been to have them in unfinished pine that you can pick up for pretty cheap. Or...you can get a good idea of how they're put together and make one out of nicer lumber if you were so inclined.
