Helping My Nicaraguan Friend With English

Hi,

I've just started hanging out with a guy that I used to work with. We would always speak spanish to help me brush up and for the fact that his english wasn't very great.

I'm going to see him once a week or so and we'll help each other in our respective forign languages.

Do you have any advice on how I can best help him? I don't teach ESL.

Believe it or not, watching tv is a great way to "immerse" in the language. Give it a shot.

Also, this might be cliche, but talking about common things like...soccer or moveis you like can help too.
