I will be obtaining a business license for my upstart freelance photography biz that I hope to develop to a sustainable level. I've been keeping receipts of (valid) expenses, mileage, etc. Will the receipts dated before the acquisition of my license apply to next year's taxes? They won't extend very far before my license. Any pointers in this new tax adventure will be most appreciated!
