Face Moisturizers for Men

I have really been thinking about buying a face moisturizer. There seems to be so many out there, and I really don’t know what works and what doesn’t? I have been working hard on other parts of my body, but have been neglecting the most visible area of my body, the face. My face isn’t really dry or oily. I did know a itty bitty wrinkle near the bottom of my eye the other day. I think what I am looking for is something that will keep my face hydrated and maybe a little SPF protection.

After my exwife had plastic surgery the doctors have her a huge amount of free samples of a lot of different products. There was two from SkinCeuticals that I liked one was a orange liquid applied with a eye dropper and the other was a regular cream moisturizer. I don’t remember the regular price for these, but I think it was astronomical.

So my question is what face moisturizers have you men used?
What works, and what is crap?
Is there a real difference between something that 10 bucks and something that cost 200 bucks?
is there a difference between men's moisturizer and what the women use?

If my skin gets unreasonably dry, I apply a no-name unscented moisturizer. I've had great success with the bottom shelf stuff in the past - I'm of the opinion that the more expensive ones do essentially the same job. Then again, I've known people (mostly female) who swear by the expensive stuff.

The women in my family are all very fond of stuff called Bag Balm. It's actually meant to be used on a cow's udder (hence the name) but apparently works as a very effective moisturizer. I'm not sure on the availability of it though; depending on where you are it could be a bit hard to find.

There sure is some very expensive stuff out there!!

My wife started me on Mary Kay for men many years ago. They stopped making men's products so I switched to the female version of the same thing. It's about $22/bottle and lasts for several months. And people don't thinkI'm as old as I am, so I don't know. I don't have many wrinkles and I'm 50...

I used to sell Mary Kay (don't laugh), and had a few friends who swore by it. They were bummed when I quit selling. When hubby needs some, he just uses a little of mine. I use Olay Regenerist and love it.

Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture SPF 15 is what I use. It seems to work fine. It's probably like $5.

bag balm is awesome for dry feet, slather your feet up with it and put thick socks on your feet will be moisturized by the days end, then take a pumice stone to smooth them down the next day. you can get rid of the thickest calices in days.

When I shave I use Neutrogena Triple Protect Face Lotion with an SPF of 20. I only use this about 3 times a week tho (hey, I'm Nordic. I'm not really hairry and don't need to shave often).

For every other time I use Olay Complete All Day. <-- Might be a female product, but hey... it works for me.

I think I'll try both the Mary Kay Olay Regenerist and the Neutrogena, see what I like better. Just glad you guys didnt say something that cost too much dough.

Thanks for your help
