need info for falls church VA and surrounding
 

I might be picking up a position for the American Red Cross in Falls church and could use some friendly help getting some hotel/motel/economystay type info around the area as well as cost of living/traffic/societal environment info if anyone would be willing to impart said info. thanks.

Falls church is a good location- you're close to a lot of things - Vienna isn't far off, DC is really close... accessible via the mass transit -

My (old lady) opinion based on what i've seen is that falls church is somewhat suburbish... not a lot happening at night, especially if you are a young single guy - DC would offer a lot more (which you will probably pay more for too) but it's pretty accessilbe on the Metro
